Bleeding Wound

Heart held in hand crying out in pain,
Hole in her chest, a deep bleeding wound.
Darkness fills the sky as sorrow does her eyes,
Your voice a haunting sound yearned for.

She lays lonely and weeping on cold stone,
Long dark hair a shroud of forgiveness.
She holds out her hand, cold fingers,
Looking to take yours and feel the warmth.

A deep sadness deep in her eyes,
A soul once returned, being torn apart.
Unbelievable pain and agony her companions,
Sorrow and torment her constant lover.

The dark wolf stands watching as she bleeds,
Bleeds upon the cold white stone.
Her hand becoming lifeless and still,
A final flutter of her eyes, a final beat of her heart.

This dark night upon her heart has cast,
A final embrace, the kiss of Death.
She but tried, once more, perhaps this time,
But silence awaits with a cold embrace.
